I experienced the same thing few weeks ago. I was about to start the Celica to cross a bump on a 35-degree slope. I stepped on the gas pedal quite heavily (around 3k rpm) but because of the god damn bump the car was moving very slowly. After I had crossed the bump I smelt some burnt smoke.
Is it common for manual cars ?? Or it just happens to Celica ?
