during normal driving my coolant temp gets up to about 150 degrees. I am still in the process of breaking in the car. I thought that most cars are supposed to get up to about 200 or something. Is 150 normal for the celica?
How do you know the actual temp? Just curious. My GT-S seems to run cool according to the guage. Maybe it's the synth motor oil? It seems to take a long time to warm up compared to my old Camry.

there's a digital gauge on the bottom right hand corner of the dash with a thermometer and some wavy lines under it. Thats the coolant temp isn't it?

wait you don't have a quarter circle temp gauge in the LCD display? With a meter bar that starts in the 9 o'clock position and when the engine is warmed up is at about 10:30 ish?
