I bought a CD/MD player last summer in Hong Kong, it's a double din, but after i installed it, it got 1 inch space on the two sides. Just wonder is there anything can fix it or mount it?:confused:

I'm assuming you have a Celica.

I've read that the have plastic pieces to cover the gaps in Europe and/or Japan (IOW not here). You might be able to order those.

Otherwise, get yourself some ABS plastic and cut out some covers.

They make plastic spacers... you can get them at best buy or a car audio store.... I dunno if it would work for your situation though. like 5 dollars.

I was just wondering I know that the double dins look really cool but does anyone use the tape player that comes in them anymore??? Our lives are run by CD's!
