I just got done with a 4 day road trip, and all the salt from the roads left the tip of my TRD exhaust liked pitted and I can't get it off. Any suggestions??

Are you sure the metal is actually pitted? Or is it just feeling rough? If the latter, it's probably from deposits forming ON the metal, not pits in the metal itself. Seems odd that it would pit from just a 4 day road trip, winter conditions or not. Try some Nevr Dull or even clay on 'em to see if they come clean and smooth again. I know the chrome tips on my Borla get a lot of crap build-up in winter, but it all comes off again fortunately.

I had just had the exact same problem. I just discovered that ceramic cook top cleaner works great for this. I was reading the bottle of cleaner while cleaning my stove one day, and it said it is good for removing baked-on stains from Stainless Steel. I thought it sounded pretty good, so I tried it. It worked as promised, and left a great shine.

Yes, stainless steel is supposed to be resistant to pitting
