View Full Version : My sister bought on of those.
The car is at shop now getting a new turbo. Then will go to the bodyshop to get rid of some chips and get some polish. should be ready within a week.
Don't you wish Celica had a similar power plan? I mean i hate " Fiat engines, but then a 20V 5 cylinder engine with a turbo and intercooler with a designer interior carrying Toyota label wouldn't be great?
BTW she is not in the US so parts is not an issue, and also my father knows the boss at the FIAT dealership so that's cool too.

I do not comprehend what the hell he just said
Drive Wheels Front Engine / FWD with ViscoDrive
FWD, I'd thought it would be RWD

you can's compare a fiat with a toyota!!
fiats are pretty low quality cars-well except of ferrari and alfa! there are a lot fiat's over here and they just suck!
guess who builds the most reliable cars-
YES TOYOTA putting toyota on a fiat would hurt the image...
i thought i just said that FIAT reliabilty sucks, and i said i wish toyota produce a turbo charged engine... BTW i never like FIATS but that FIAT is one fast car, and the interior is better than a Celica.. I will give you a good review when i get to drive it in 3 weeks.! I dont think Alfa's are much better than FIATS, Alfa's are high maintainance and not very reliable. Even Ferraris break down a lot...so YES most Italian cars coming from FIAT company are not known for their reliability.
But the fact remains, that FIAT handles really good, has Brembo Brakes, and can EAT any NA celica or even stock WRX.
its a FWD. has 5 cylinders and 4 valves per cylinder make 20. Its a 220hp, 2.0 lt turbo charged engine. Most reviews show 0 - 62 mph in 6.3 sec and top speed in excess of 150 mph. 1/4 mile is low 14s.. performance is close to S2000.

On that link that you posted, it says that the Fiat gets 23.2 MPG in the city and 12.21 MPG on the highway. Is that a typo or something? 12 MPG on the highway is horrible, even SS Camero's manage to get 28 MPG on the highway.
Still, pretty neat looking car IMO.
yeah, that link is messed up... i gave the correct statistics above, i think the consumption should be about the same as Eclipse GS-T.
