Anyone know the difference between AEM cold air intake gen 1 and gen 2?

There used to be a intake for auto and stick, but witht the V2 its just one intake

V2 according to super street utilizes a tube within a tube design. it uses the inner tube to better direct the air or something like that. it makes sense when you hear the explanation. sorry i couldnt give it to you

The intake for the Celica isn't a V2. The piping for V2 intakes is too big to fit in the Celica's engine bay. We have a Gen 2, which is just revised piping over the original intake. It has slightly different bends, and the MAFS mount is located closer to the throttle body to prevent the CELs that the Gen 1 had.

affirmative, that's what i thought. it's not V2 it's GEN 2.:thumbup: And the difference between GEN 1 and GEN 2 is that for GEN 2 it's easier to put the by pass valve in.
