Hi everyone,
Living in beautiful SF has some crappy points. Like my private parking space is outdoors so my car gets crapped on daily. Anyway, about 2 weeks ago, I found a gigantor load on my spoiler. I had just gotten back from vacation, so who knows how long it sat there for, eating my brand new paint away. After washing it off diligently, I can now clearly see an imprint of the bird crap from a certain angle. And it's driving me completely nuts. If I catch the ****ing bird who did it, there's no saying what I would do to the SOB. Anyway, so my question is: is there ANYWAY I can get rid of the imprint? It's very light, but it's clearly there even after careful washing & drying. Please help!

Just paint over it. Someone I know had a little leaf imprint on their door and ended up having the whole door painted. ;)

i know how you feel man,

every single morning i see bird **** on my hood, and it's not just one bird, i think it's a whole family of birds

so, i was forced to park in the visitor spots, i'll probably put up a birdhouse in the tree, filled with poison,

yes, i know i'm evil, but you gotta do what you gotta do

damn straight. i wish bird sniping was legal anywhere... filthy little beasts.

as for the imprint.. try using a clay bar. if that doesn't work.. use a mild abbrassive like Meguiar's Swirl Remover... then polish it up w/ some other Meguiar's stuff.

That happened to me last week.. but there were 2 large dumps on my hood. I was pissed but then realized that it could be the perfect excuse to spring for the carbon-fiber hood i've been eyeing =)

I have had crap on my car for just 2 hours and I was the car and there is the "imprint" or discoloration of the paint. Maybe our cars just have ****ty paint?

Must be from all of that toxic smog :)
