This special 4,700K JDM Edition was designed for drivers who wanted the absolute best light output for their vehicle without the "blue look". This system have improvements in color, brightness & reduced eye stain towards outside drivers over factory (4,300K) HID systems. These achievements are accomplished through a custom xenon gas mix which produces a bright beam with a slight hint of green hue. Moreover, the slightly green headlight trend is currently available in many new Japanese & European luxury vehicles; making this 4,700K color both functional and stylish for your headlights.

HID is legal in most Asian countries which makes the 4,700K color very street-friendly. However it is still to be used for off-road or race purposes in the United States Only!

Color: White/Yellow w/JDM Green

Kelvin: 4700K JDM Edition

Ballast: Generation IV

Application: H1 / H4 / H7 / 9004 / 9005 / 9006 / 9007 / H11 (coming soon)

MSRP: $499

Key Benefits:

* Brighter than factory & aftermarket 4,300K HID systems (up to 450 lumen/or 14% brighter)

* Additional green hue reduces eye strain and glare without sacrificing brightness

* 30% brighter than the Gen II 7,000K (Iceberg Blue) bulbs

* Decreased blue output = Less attention to vehicles with "Red & Blue" lights!

I think you'll probably get pulled over for the green and it might look kinda fugly. FYI though the IS300 has a green tint on the rear view mirror and side mirrors at night that reduce glare, thats what I was thinking of when I read this, any pics?

i have included a link in the second post... i doubt it will be all green... it's saying an "additional green hue" was added to reduce eye strain...

well since you've already paid for it, does it matter what we say?

to my knowledge the return wire for McCulloch's are on the top which produce a shadow.

EDIT> their site mentions only their 5000K bulb making a shadow.

their site says FACT: 4200K is the brightest output. As the "K" goes up, the lumen/brightness goes down, so that conflicts with their 4700 being "Brighter than factory & aftermarket 4,300K HID" statement.

"Additional green hue reduces eye strain and glare". this i think is BS. everyone and their mother claims reduced eye strain because of.. whatever. fake HIDs say this, HID (true white), yellow halogen. truth is.. eye is most sensitive to yellow lite. only reduced eye strain that makes sense to me is from a full spectrum lite, which means no tint. pure white.

the way of the future? true to a sense. halogens i think produce more heat than lite. they burn-out and are not very efficient for the power consumption. their output is yellow. hopefuly they'll be phased out and most new cars will have HID standard.
