gts owners...has anyone tried this?

just curious since we always talk about how great the lift is and how it push u back into your seat when lift occurs....anyone ever tried hitting lift in reverse?? was bored and just thought about it...whats it like?? can't try it now...will have to wait until better weather!!

Someone tried it, but the car kept popping out of gear before the hit lift. I think it has to do with some sort of safety device to protect crazy a$$ people like me. ;)

How would that blow a synchro? Reverse doesn't even have a synchro anyway.
I wonder why it would pop out of gear too. Maybe I'll try it sometime.

I know that there is no syncro in R , but with all the other problems im just not gonna risk it.

i have tried this in an open parking lots, the reverse gear cant take the pressure so at 5500 rpm it pushes the shifter out of gear, i even tried forcefully holding it in gear, but it pushes it out hard, maybe an auto gt-s can do it though. Let me tell you at 5500 you are hauling ass in reverse!

i heared on here that an auto gts can kill a stick gts in reverse =P id try to hit lift in reverse with my auto gts but theres not really anywhere to do it
