Hello Everyone! I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem. Does the GT-S shift harder than the GT. I was in my friends GT and he has a smooth shift but my GT-S takes more to get into gears. Ive had the tranny replaced under warranty 3 times in the past 2 years. Im so confused! Is there an OIL I have to grease something up or something? I aint contacting Toyota cause they will not know, they will be like bring it in and we will charge you 200 dollars to fix it, you know how they are, let me know guys! I was thinking of going into the dealership to see the feel of a new GT-S and see if its similiar!

it may also be your short shifter.. I remember seeing awhile back that there was some bad B&M shifters, lots of people were complaining about them. Maybe you got a bad one? either that or maybe its not fully engauging when you shift into a gear or something , that might explain the 3 transmission repairs. Hope this helps.

A sort shifter increases shifting effort (for several reasons) no matter what. Maybe that is part of the difference.
