Exactly what the subject says... in your expierence, what springs give you a nice drop and a close to stock ride, without changing struts, and what not.
Let me know the brand and the drop for Front and Rear.
Thanks,
Chris

TRD I would say... but also they are probably very low on the performance scale, as opposed to the very close to stock ride quality....

i am slowly getting more and more annoyed with my TRD springs. when i go down this road i drive on every day, the sucker bounces as if it were on cut springs. pisses me off so much i might just buy new struts and stuff for it.

:werd: I'm getting KYB AGX shocks as a remedy, however i also plan on getting eibach's sportline kit to go lower with.

oh wow, same here. i was thinking of the sportlines, but now thinking of going with tanabe
i would say the trd are similar to the stock ones. i remember after installing them, a friend asked "how does it feel?" and i replied "i dunno, i cant tell"

I have the Eibach Sprotline springs and I think they're great. The ride is slightly stiffer than stock, but is still a comfortable ride. Just make sure you get the front end aligned after you lower the car, and you might want to consider buying the Hotchkis rear canber links as well.

if i have to do it all over again, i would get a shock/strut combo, but for that money i'd rather pay a few hundred more and buy some JIC magics or teins.

The stock struts are meant for the stock springs' rates. If you put TRD springs on them, it will bounce more than on an aftermarket strut. It's that simple.
Most coilover systems have even higher spring rates but the struts can accomadate the springs. It goes hand in hand.

TRD Sportivo Kit is made for just what you are lookin for. I have had it for 3 years now and its very much like stock until you take it around a turn sharply, then they kinda dig in and hold on. Just what you need.

lots of people rave about the H&Rs ride quality, but they are more pricey than the TRDs

don't forget shocks... they will eliminate all/most bounce...
actually... i'm quite surprised that my tokico's are keeping my car as unbouncy as it is for how low i set my ground controls to

if you only have H&Rs, why does your ride look so slammed?

My Goldlines gave a two inch drop and gave me a ride that wasn't too harsh or bouncy, and I didn't even change out the shocks.
