=( i was racing with my friends. 00 lude, 98 accord v6. we were all at a redlight and it turns green. both of them jumped out on me and then when i hit lift, i was just half a car from accord and then a car fromt he lude, but as soon as i fell out i lost too much and never was able to catch up. we raced to about 80 and then shut down. sigh...i was the only one with a mod (injen cai). i think i could do a better job on the accord but i'm not sure. it sucks racing from the drag cause i have auto, can't launch and no torque. ThUs, my money will no longer go into performance mods unless i happen to walk across about 10 gs for a torque conversion and turbo and all that lol. anyhow just wanted to share, PeAcE

actually i'm not into the whole racing scene anymore. too many embarassing accounts, haha! but it's all good cuase after half a year, i'm gonna have the phatest lookin ride. our cars still look MAD dope compared to any of the cars in our price rang, NO DOUBT!
the TC will make a difference.i launch at 3200 which is 1000 rpm higher than stock. with drag radials and NOS the car still spins up to 6000 rpm.i think i'm the only auto owner with traction problems :) .
after tuning my car it'll run low 14s @ 3200 ft of elevation. high 13 at sea level (i hope)
and you don't need 10k to make it fast,
level ten TC is $600
labor to put in 200-500
nitrous +labor 1500
trany cooler 120+100 labor
slicks 500
total 2300-$2700
this should have you run 14 flat if not less.
i ran a 14.6 with this setup @3200ft which is close to 14 flat

hey, also in addition to zooq's suggestions i just got a url for http://www.summitracing.com , they have a B&M ATF Cooler for like $40-$50 a few of the S/C auto camry owners (mao and ackbar) on this board use them.
also, if you got real racing slicks, i think you could get away with that and not worry about damage since you're not launching at a crazy rpm or anything...maybe having a dual stage kit or a progressive controller to ease on the nitrous from 25 to full shot by 6000rpm in 1st.
