Tire questions, HElp!

I bought 17"x 7.5 rims. I want to know which of these tire sizes are best for my sized rims: 215/40/17, 215/45/17, 225/45/17, 225,45/17. I also want to know which type of tires i should get. I was thinking of toyo, yokohamas, or bridgestone. ONe of these. Please voice your opinions, and thank you for all your help and time.

215/40 would be the best size. 215/45 if you have lots of crappy roads. Bridgestone S-03 is probably the best you can get, but they are not cheap.

I second that, 215/40/17 is the best. I would rate the tires in these order: 1) Bridgestone S-03 2) Yokohamas AVS 3) Toyo S-01.

thanks for your input, i decided to take both your advices, and i do have crappy roads, so i'm getting 215/45/17 bridgestone s-03 tires. thanks for all your help
