There is like 2 bolts on the bottom of the front panel. 2 Bolts the inside (near the dash) of hte door. And 1 long phillips screw under the door handle (the inside one). Its pretty easy to get off, after undoing all those bolts and screws u gotta pull it off, it has some snapping bolts in there, so it will make some noise when u take it off... just make sure u reconnect the cable to the door handle if it falls off. (It got unhooked from mine, and i couldnt open the door from the inside, had to open up the whole panel again, and put it back in.)

I have just the thing for you. Check out my photobook on removing the door plastics. (http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4292353827)
The first pic is hard to see but there are 2 screws to remove below the map pocket. The only thing I missed with pics: roll down the window and pull off the black plastic triangle piece that is inside of where the mirror mounts. Once all the screws are out get your fingers behind the panel (helps to start at the bottom) and pop it off. There are 5-6 plastic clips that are holding it on.
I might suggest getting a roller to smooth the damping out. Depending on the temp. by you, you might need to heat the damping up so it is easier to work with. Good luck.
