I picked up a pair of Eurolite (cause i thought they would be better than street glow) blue neon rods, but when I plugged it into the cigarette lighter, and turned on the on switch, nothing happened. So I returned them, and tried street-glow... same thing. I tried this with the key in every position, even with the car fully started! Was I doing something wrong, or will these just not work with our cars? THNX

Depending on the temperature some neon tubes can also take a long time to light up if they have been off long enough. Something to do about it needing to build up enough ions to carry the current.
