Inadvertently went to "www.newcelica.com" and it forwards to Team Unison. I wonder where they got that name from...?

Origionally .com was supposed to stand for commercial and .org was supposed to stand for organization, but no one pay's attention to that any more. Newcelica.org was registered back in 00...As far as I can tell Newcelica.com was registered last week
(01-22-02).

I assume Larry registered the .org for organization.

I dont think he was asking why they purchased the .com part of it but the newcelica domain and forwarded to their site, like they are trying to steal nc.org's popularity.

na... it was ment for searchengines to find us because we are 7th gen celica club which is also new celica club, by just using teamunison.com it would be harder for people to find us because it is not easily associated with new celica but by doing this they know we are new celica club. not to steal LarryD's popularity because once they get onto our board they know it is not newcelica.org, however if they are just searching the new celicas they will find us as well as newcelica.org. Hope that explains it.

interesting.. thats all i gotta say, so have u guys noticed an increase in traffic since the new domain name forward has come into effect?

I am not sure I am not the webmaster I am only a showteam member, but I would assume that more people know we are celica board thus more people is coming to our board. Atleast when people is searching for name celica we would show up, which teamunison would not. If we are stealing newcelica.org you would notice a drop in people coming here so did you experience a drop? I do not think so. I go to alot of celica boards because one can never have too much information.

thats cool dude, to each his own. and yes LarryD does know what we are about and what we look like, as I remember he did email one of our original member about joining the team but then that was awhile ago. We are a serious new celica team, we do go to all the shows thats in So Cal, and we do try to help out other celica peps when ever they ask for help.
