I need your suggestions. Please be honest!

Ok, now some of you know I got into an accident just before christmas. My car was specked in paint from a truck that had spilled it on the highway. Well the time has come to get it done. I'm getting a CF hood along with other mods to put on when my car is being fixed. My main concern is the CF hood. Well as most of you know, my car has stripes on it. Well with the Cf hood will the stripes look OK? I'm just wondering and kinda undecided as to remove the stripes or not. Maybe you guys can influence me. Do they stay or do they go?
I ask cause I'm not sure how it would look and then if I get stripes removed, I will not stand out anymore. Specially those who have met me and seen my car before, they will prolly be like damn teh stripes are gone. So please help. All suggestions welcome. It'll help withh my decision. Thanks friends.

Tom.. here in west coast where da biggest import scene lives... honestly stripes r tacky man... nobody has stripes on their car here in kalifornia.. besides stripes are kinda played out back in 95.. it is much nicer without it.....

I'll have to agree with everyone so far...the stipes don't look bad, but the car would look so much cleaner and classier without them. But then again - I'm not really fan of decals and vinyl stuff to begin with, I think it "cheapens" the car.

Your Ricer appeal will definitely go down when you lose the stripes. And if someone from Cali (home of the biggest ricer scene in the country) is telling you that they're rice, I think that's a sign.

Well I thought about it too and they are going to go. :( Sad to do it but it time for a change and that change will be here in a week. I'm glad you guys could help because it influnced my decisicion and and made me realize that change will be better. Thanks. Oh and Roland if you put red stripes down your car I will kill you! Go with white.
