Slam the ride?

Running 225/40 18 with wheels that are 42 offset. Was thinkin bout going with a 1.4" drop but now I wanna get this thing slammed!
What you guys think about a 2" drop. Either tanabe or hotchkis.

Any idea if tires will rub?

I have 215/35/18 with kyb agx shocks and tanabe superdown precedo (2") springs, and I have plenty of room left for a 40 series tire. I dunno, about the 42 offset though. We got to get a tx meet going pretty soon, and you can can check my ride out for yourself.

about a meet..i'm in the works of finalizing a official memberlist for TX. Not everyone on the TX forums is a member of TX. Some are there jus to chat etc..In any case, right after I'm gonna start settin up a official meet. I've been thinkin about using that Delware Water Gap site. Its not that bad of a drive for us NY peeps or NJ and at the same time it accomodates a loyal celica enthusiast like yourself who is coming wayy out from state college. Hit me up mang!

sorry but a 2 inch drop isnt exactly slamming your car......u wanna slam it, get GC's or bag it!! i got sportlines and my car is not even close to being slammed, just a regular drop.

in queens, a 2" drop will feel like a "slammed" car cuz the roads are just that nasty to drive on
