Seriously, I called my local dealer today, which I have a decent relationship with. They too have seen the various rumors around the re-release of the Supra.

I told them today that I wanted to get on the "want one" list. They said they would being checking around to see what they could find out.

The salesman that I've dealt with for the past 4 years said that he was off to Toyota USA HQ in August, and would see what he could find out.

We'll see! I'll post what I find out.

No kidding! The local dealer has two MKIVs that are perfect; one really fixed up with both go-fast and looks-fast parts. I let him know I might be interested in one of his MKIVs if he needs to make room for one of the new ones :)

The problem is that EVERYONE is tired of hearing about the new Supra. Someone says "I heard such and such from the this guy" about the new Supra and they have to run and post it even though there are a ton of posts about the damn thing telling the exact same stuff. I hope it comes out soon just so people will shut the hell up about it already.

Yeah no kidding, I called my dealership up a few months ago to find out how much they charge to calibrate guages, they don't do it. "any time somthing goes wrong with them, we just order new ones". Called up another one an hour and a half away and they don't do it either, but they atleast knew enough to point me to a shop in the area that does. I don't know, but my assumption is that they'd have SOMETHING there that'd let them do it, guess I'm assuming too much.
