Questions about 18"

You guys with 18" wheels - is the ride more uncomfortable? I was advised against 18" by my alloy wheel shop for this reason, also what is the effect on the speedometer accuracy by going to 18"? Are the rims easily damaged on uneven roads. If anyone has nice pics of 18" with 6 or 7 spoke wheels can they post me some pics.

With 18" rims the ride wheel be bumpy, but not unbearable. It really depends on the quality of your roads. You will have to watch out for potholes. Your speedo would read slightly less than what you are actually going.
