AHHH!!! Ive been reading this board for a week or so and decided to get a celica, sold my 97 turbo eclipse and went to the dealership. Found this AMAZING 19k mile Manual shift Carbon Blue 2000 GTS with ALL the options minus cd changer and power seats(I dont like power seats anyways), got to take it home even for the night and drive it around and I fell in love. I get to the dealership and talk to them and cant work out a deal, I have to use my parents to cosign and they wont do above $18k TOTAL. The totall walk out price is $18.5!!!!! can you believe it!!?! so I had to pass up the GTS for now, I'm desparetly trying to make $500 asap, this just happened last night and I have $100, so I'm $400 short. I just need the other $400 before they sell that car!! Just wanted to let everyone know I may be the next carbon blue GST owner on this board, wish me luck.

Good thing you don't like power seats, it isn't an option anyhow. The CD changer would be a dealer installed option too, not a factory one.

Try to get the $$$ together and in the mean time the dealership will likely call and let it go for $18,000.

Yeah if they want to move the car, they will give YOU a call. When I bought my GTS, I went to 3 different dealerships before I found one that wasnt going to try and take me on the price. Even AFTER I had finalized the deal with the 3rd dealership, the other 2 kept calling me back and lowering their prices. Hope you didnt look too desperate when you were at the dealership ;)

Good Luck!
