take the pin out of the connector??

did anyone find out how to back the pin out of the connector for the drl? i think there is more then one latch holdin it in...

are you trying to disable the drl? theres a yellow wire you can cut in back of the stereo.

ya i found it but i no really like cut it cus it would be hard to solder it back together...so i was wonderin if anyone else got it out nicely

im planning to do it if i get HIDs. but instead of soldering, i was gonna use a butt connector on both ends with a male / female adapter on each side. so i can easily connect / disconnect them in the future.

:) ya i finally figured it out... there are two latches that hold the metal pin in the connector. there is a plastic tab that runs the lengh of the connector on the top that pops out maybe 1/8" , while this is up, insert a lil pin into the other hole under the pin (so there are acually two holes per pin) wiggle the pin out and it should come out wit not too much of a struggle...i could put pics if u guys have trouble. hope this make u more confident in disabling ur drl's or other stuff.
