Is the option for favorite forums now gone?

I haven't played with the feature yet. But you can "subscribe" to select forums and threads, then the threads show up in the first screen of the "User Control Panel" part. It appears to be similar to the old "favorites" feature.

Yes, but how exactly do you subscribe to a forum? I can't find the option. I've seen the settings page where subscribed forums and threads are listed, but there is no option to pick a forum to subscribe to.

As far as threads go, it appears that you get automatically subscribed to any thread you reply to. Which seems useless to me.

<b>To subscribe to a thread:</b><ul><li>Navigate to the thread you wish to subscribe to</li><li>Click on "Subscribe to this Thread" near the <i>bottom</i> of the page</li></ul>

<b>To view subscribed items:</b><ul><li>Click on "user cp" a the top of any page to go to your "User Control Panel"</li></ul>

Also, in the "User Control Panel", under "Edit Options", there's the option to turn off email notification when someone responds to a thread after you.
