the only site I found that sells one "for 2002" but no picture or anything. does anyone know ? any expericen with it ?

Yes it should work since they made two different shifters for the 00 and 02 due to the wider shift gates. No it's not the same company as B&M. I've also read that the B&M will work on the 02 also.

What would be the difference in the shifter for wider spacing between 1-2 and 3-4 ? A longer (or shorter?) side arm?

Either way, I don't think it would be much of a difference if the B&M works for either. I just installed a TWM short shifter in my 2000 GT (5-speed) and everything looked and fit exactly the same as the 6 speed pictures in the instructions.

The 2000 - 2001 shifter from TWM is a great part. Feels good an sturdy, finish is beautiful - nickle plated ("chromed") it included fasteners, spacers and good instructions with lots of photos, and even a sticker (so you KNOW it's gotta add horsepower :)
Overall, I'm quite impressed for what I think must be a small or new company. I can only say that they did such a good job on the 2000 version, that if they thought a different version was needed for 2002, they probably got that one right too.
