I am not really familiar with the kw rating, what does that equal is HP/TQ #'s. I know nothing about the new car but have heard plenty of people that bashed it, why?

The front looks like

MR-S Headlights.
350Z Hood/Front with a Celica Buddyclub kit.

The V8's going make about 450hp. Remember the $ quoted/estimated by the article is in Australian dollars, which worth even less than Canadians.

i dont liek either concept...NA V8 :puke: y change teh all mighty RB26??? twin turbo...9000rpms....more potential then almost any motor..relable...wat are they doing? just make a few adjustments 400hp is not far off.

I agree... however, turboed engines are more expensive to produce and nissan probably doesn't wanna make the same mistake it did in the 90's...

In Japan the skyline is essientally the G35 we have here in the states right? So the GTR is a moddifed G35??

That car looks amazing. I'd much rather have the turbocharged inline 6 than the V8 though.

body looks liek a g35 because it is. there have been several reports and even a video here with the m3 vs the Z vs G35 and the g35 is referred to as the nissan skyline by the jap drivers. i can email anyone the vid if its not being hosted anymore.

Now there is a reason for higher education if I ever saw one. Looks like Nissan wants to go head to head with the Z06. That is going to be an enjoyable battle. :D

The new skyline is the G35...Sorry folks.. The R35 is going to be the high performance Skyline.. VQ35 motor Twin turbo..400Hp..
Hell they all ready put the TURBO maintenance, in the 350Z manual... Right in the back of the My Z33 manual reads "Turbo Maintenance" Coincidence,?,? I think not....

There's a difference between the Skyline and the GT-R. Its like the difference between the BMW 3 or 5 series and the M badge. - Similar chassis, but different engine and car.

whats a Z33? some sorta chevy? :D (forgive my ignorance)

and i doubt any manufacturer would waste money printing stuff about a turbo in the owners manual if the car didnt come with one.
