when i start out in the morning, i hear some weird sounds.. cant exactly describe it, but it sounds like little pieces of sand hitting against the body of the car. sounds like the tire might be kicking up some dirt into the metal underbody.

however, it's only in the mornings. At any other time, i dont feel or hear anything.

also. whats the easiest way to get rid of license plate rattle? its really starting to bug me.

i think thats your exhaust piping.. the reason its doing that is because of the hot exaust running through the cold piping... its normal... the gurgling sound from the dash was confirmed to be the coolant... thanks scott. i checked my coolant levels and low and behold, i needed more pink stuff... so i'm taking it to toyota.

should i use like duct tape for the licnese plate? it would be rather unsightly though...... any ideas?

for the licence plate you can buy lil foam pieces that have a sticky backing to them and just stick it in back of plate so the vibration wont make noises.... i think i may have some here in the garage if you need it.
