Wsup guys...i got the skinny on a car show coming up. here's all the info i have on it as of yet. any questions that arent asnwered here..just e-mail em to me and i'll find out. wow nobody's posted in this forum for a while....latez:


Dear IRev Competitor,

Import Revolution staff has been working into the night to produce a show that will be revolutionalize the import car scene.

The first show of the year will be on March 9th, 2002 at the Houston Astrodome, Houston, Texas.
Some spaces are still available, but is limited and going FAST.

I guess I'm in but, if we are going to show together then shouldn't we gather $$$ and get a booth? Then we need to build a set looking thing for our cars and get lights and stuff. I can get a DJ to spin if necessary.

I'll be at this show for sure not showing but i want to be out with TCC we have plenty of time to do this stuff like josiah said we need to build at set or something we can put something together and the DJ is a must that will get more attention to us i'll see if i can get some girl that will want to run around in small clothing :)


SAM its time make the TCC Banner how we talked a while back some ting to hang up and stuff and see if by then we can have the website all set up so that we can have The URL every where and when ppl go there they see what we are all about and see if we can have some shirts to sell

just some ideas but to show as a club would be the **** and i think we can get 6 cars josiah , lauren, kareem,Le and tow others maybe dawn,ben ,or gaberiel just sopme idea but this will be ths ****

Yeah definitely girls, I overheard a Magazine reporter talking to someone at the last show I was at and he was saying " you can have a totally tricked out and badda$$ looking ride and I don't care coz I've seen it, I only care about the girls W/ the car for the photos." So, On that note we need some girls to shake it for the TCC. (sorry Lauren no offense got to do what we got to do) so "can a N!**@ get a table dance" Seriously though we need a pimp show stage set, Models, cars, lights and sound to blow this $h!t up. Lets start talking about this and get something rolling it's just over 1 month away.

If i do my setup, i'll make it so that i have pics and stuff around the car.

thanks! Everyone take a look at that, and see if we are really interested in doing a booth. If yes, then we gotta raise money quick. If not, we can still prepare for any of the future shows.

I'm in, but $150 for a 10'x10' booth Uhh how many cars can we fit in that space. Will it be worth the $150 for the space. Let's see if we can get space to fit the cars and if there is a group price or something. someone call I'm Busy as hell right now W/ Work and I've been working on the webpage and another webpage.

WTF we have to pay to plug into an electrical outlet? and that is a lot of money too..... I guess the Sound and lights are out coz that is too much. I mean you have to pay $53 for the 500W electricity and $105 per half hr for a guy to plug stuff in. maybe some other team will share costs and we can get a 500W outlet. We could setup next to another group and share electricity. The DJ's I promised said they are in.

Yes that is a firehazard and Firemarshall will $h!t a brick.. This is why you have to pay a Union electrician top rate to plug an extension cord into a wall outlet. You actually have to disconnect your positive terminal from your battery when you get your car into the arena.

OK whom ever is going to show lets get a meeting together for sometime just after the SanA meet and gather the money together and get this stuff rolling. Give me a link to print up registration forms and I'll bring them so people can fill them out and We'll collect the money and turn it in. At the meetin we can figure out a setup such as props and how were getting it there. I might be able to borrow stuff for props from a shop.

I heard today that there will be a better turnout at WIC than there will be at IR. Sat is the time trials Sun is the races and car show. Unless it rains then there should be more people and coverage at WIC. We need to find out which show will be better for us...
