here is a picture of the dyno sheet. I hope someone can break it down for me as i am not to good at reading these charts.

the red lines are stock, the blue lines are with the intake. bottom two are torque, top two are horsepower. peak horsepower went from 157.1 to 175.3 (12% gain). peak torque 116.8 to 125.1 (7% gain). pretty good, if you believe manufacturer dynos. :)

sounds like a bunch of bull **** to me? fawkin 18.1 hp to the wheel? thats insane just from a regular intake. not even a cold air. i dont believe them. maybe someone that knows about this should clear this up. i might be wrong.

actually if yo look at the dynos that injen did of the Celica they were right on.. 16.5hp for the GTS CAI and about 8.6hp for the GTS Short Ram.. so they have no reason to lie about the RSX dyno.. its prolly a really restrictive intake..

i dont really know a lot about dynos and reading them but from a friend who does know a lot about cars, he said 18.1 hp to the wheel sounds insane. if this is right,? then injen has done a miracle on making cai's and short rams intakes. i personally love the injen cai for the celica gts. that would be my choice of intake but im still iffy on this 18.1 hp to the wheel for the rsx type s "short ram intake"

157 baseline? isn't that a little weak? Maybe the baseline run was understated to make the gains with the intake look better

157hp baseline and 116tq seems rather weak. But damn H's new motor really takes well to mods.

157 does sound really really low as a stock Celica GTS is around 153.. and we have 20hp less then them supposedly from the factory..

the rsx i saw dyno'd got (4th gear run) 172 stock... then put the injen in, reset the ecu and ended up with a 178 to the wheels... i'm sure it'll go up a few more hp once the ecu learns everything
