what exactly is power shifting. I asked ten different pls and they told me 10 different things.

also what is Double clutching? is that just for big rigs?

Power shifting is when you shift while keeping it full throttle.

Double clutching is when you employ rev matching in conjunction with tapping the clutch twice to shift into a gear (once to put it in neutral, once for throwing it into the desired gear). This is typically employed when downshifting into 1st or on cars without syncros.
