Ok here is the situation, I am getting 17" OZ F1 Cup's on Tuesday or at least they said they will be here by then, I need to know if I should put them on my car right away or if I should wait, the problem is they are expecting us to have snow and Ice this week, which means that Most likely I would Crisin my new rims with salt which would suck but in reality is unlikely, Also on Feb 16 I am taking a SCCA SOLO II Novice driving Class, Is that going to be a bad way to break in brand new tires, BTW the tires That I bought are 205/45 - WR17 Yokahama, Thanks in advance for the help

They should be fine. Just hose them off when you get home so the salt doesn't eat away at them. Be sure wax them before you put them on. It will make it much easier to clean them.

Thanks Barry I never thought of waxing them, What kind of wax to you use just a carnuba?

Thanks for the help I just got them in the mail today they look awesome, I already waxed them and tomorrow I am going to use the lift next door to where I work and mount them
