How do you take out the front side markers?

I have a stock celica gts 2000 and I looked to see if I can reach my hands around the front bumper to take out the front side marker and put in clear ones. But it was blocked. How do you guys normally do this change?

changing the side markers is pretty simple. Theres an install guide someone. Check the installs section. Just turn the wheel, and move the plastic peices aside, take off the bulb/connecter from the stock side markers, unscrew, then take off. If your hand cant fit, just remove the font bumper.

Hey, wth -why not just learn to take off your front bumper... I mean You'll want to learn at some point in time.

Other than the obvious screws you see, There is one concealed within the inner wheel-well plastics (where the bumper physically meets the fender)... And then your gonna need a flat head to pry up the 4 corners of that one nasty toyota emblem bolt.

Everything else is just a 10mm wrench
Simple, take your bumper off- gain easy access to your sidemarkers.

Your hands won't fit in through the engine bay, and your arm isn't long enough to slide through the fog lamp holes (on the passenger side theres a biotch of a black box), and you don't have night vision cameras at your finger tips to tell you how the hell your gonna turn the wrench (which you may or may not drop back there).

Trust me, take off that bumper- save yourself the grief.

but damn~ is that the only way?? takin' out the whole front bumper juss to put in a sidemarker?

you really dont need to take off the bumper if you hand can fit and u can reach the sidemarker. But taking off the front bumper is really simple.

:werd: that passenger side is the tighest mofo. I was turning the wrench blindly. Can't see shiot. Take off the bumper, its a process but a lot easier and less frustrating in the end.

Just take off ur front bumper, it's easier that way. You'll learn if ur going to do a next mod which requires u taking ur front bumper
