I've been told while Armor All provides UV protection, it's chemical composition pulls oils from plastics causing them in the long run to crack. Toyota also recommends soad/water to clean the interior & doesn't mention protectants like Armor All.

Anyone got any facts to share or opinios on this?

Oh yeah, Armor All fumes evaporating from the dash leave a film on windows that's a pain to clean. Does Meguair's?

I used to use armorall when i didnt know any better but around a half year ago i got into detailing and have learned that it will dry out leather or vinyl and it also does leave a film on the inside windows. I now am using vinylex, from the same people who sell Lexol, the best leather cleaner. Im gonna just use the rest of my armorall product to shine up the inside of my wheel wells when i do my big routine whenever spring comes back.

I prefer Mothers preservesd/protectant, although a shiny glow does not look good on 7th gens (my opinion)
