the one on ebay is for momo/sparco steering wheels.... I don't think they fit the stock ones.

CloNeGTS

Nope....I know that's what it was. It had the rubber surround to it to.

when you go down and look at your steering wheel, that whole center cap comes out......even that half inch of rubber around the little center cap.

like i was saying, i remember seeing the part..."horn button" in a trd japan catalog. i dont know if it fits our car, but it has the coated center with the black rubber lining around it. i always assumed it snapped in place of the old button.

You can buy a horn replacement but its for a MOMO steering wheel. Looks as if someone has bought one and pried the center emblem out of it, because I've seen those before.

possibly photoshopped? i could easily do that with photoshop. not saying it is for sure, but looks like it is. would be hella cool imo if they had that for the stock steering wheel tho. anyone think they could custom make these? I could help with designing. haha make a little mulah...:D

hahahaa... I took that picture and this one too! Pretty good pictures if you think that they are photoChopped! (and infact, they are NOT)

And I know exactly where Unison69 got the logo too!

hey no need to get defensive or take offense to my comment. i would rather the picture be real because i'd like to have one of those so chill. just thought i'd bring up the option that it could be photoshopped...it would be a creative idea. Anyway, anyone know how one of those could be made?

hmmm... I seem to remember someone trying to get those custom made expect he was putting the dragon of an old school celica instead of the TRD logo on it. Im not sure how he made out though, does anyone know

That would look good but if you want it to blend in more a good old can of spray pain black or a better quailty of paint would look good too... make it look more solid, I don't like that plastic button looking thing ya know, I'll post when I get a idea of what to do. Later

So does anyone know a good way to get that whole center section out of the steering wheel? I really hate that ugly Toyota symbol and want a polished or brushed aluminum "gear-looking ring" like on the Matrix show car. Anyways, here's that MOMO MR2 wheel whe's talking about:

<img src = "http://www.mr2turbo.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/mods/Retrim/trdwheel2.jpg">

You can buy just the center emblem from Fensport in the UK
www.fensport.co.uk Strange thing is that the guy at Fensport told me that those things would not work with our wheels.

It's nothing more than an accessory part for the M Sport over in Japan. Jesse posted a pic of it over in the discussion about the TRD seats in GD.

If everyone really wants it, call up David Draper and see if his distributor can't pick up a few.

aight, i talked to them and here's what they said....they do have them for sale. However they are made for the MOMO steering wheel and fit a 55mm diameter. can anyone go measure the stock celica steering wheel center?

thanks

The steering wheel and horn button are in the Japan TRD All Parts Catolog. David Draper gets Japan stuff. The horn button goes for 2,000 yen and the steering wheel goes for 69,000 yen. How much ever that is. They come in black, red, blue, and yellow.
