It was really cold this morning and when I start to drive off there is a sound coming from the passenger area...sounded like the glovebox...but I opened that and nothing was rattling in there. I figured out the sound was coming from the front ,passenger airbag space? Can this be opened to check it out? anyone else have this problem? Sounds like a loose bolt rolling around in there.:wiggle:

do you still have the stock amplifier? If so that could be it. I had a noise coming from that area that sounded like a washer rattling around on a bolt. Like a metallic tingy sort of sound. Turns out it was a wire running past the amp that was slapping against the aluminum heatsink of the amplifier. I just taped the wire out of the way and the sound was gone.

I got the same problem. How do you get to the wire?

sorry for the very late reply. You have to take out the passenger side kick panel (in the lower right hand side of the passenger foot area) and you have to drop the golve box by opening it and removing the plastic locking plugs. You just twist them and pull them out. After that you will be able to get a good look at the amplifier heatsink. You should see the wire or wires running near it. Secure them out of the way.

good that someone mentioned this.

I've had some sounds from the passenger side but mine sounded like a plastic panel shaking(something large sounding not some bolts or screws)

I too thought it was the glove box but that wasn't it.
I had a hunch it might be something under the hood.
