antenna theft...

1st day parked at UH (8/18) I got a parking ticket and to top it off, someone taxed my s2000 antenna. Probably a celica owner. I bought another one for $25. I'm thinkin about super glueing this one in. common occurance or just bad luck?? ....if by any chance the person reading this jacked my antenna or anyone elses ... FCUK U... u broke ass mfer

at least it happened to you on your first day here....so now you know better....my antenna didn't get jacked up until last semester...almost 2 years since i came here

you just have to know where not to park....cuz the time that it did get jacked, i parked at a spot i normally don't...fourth floor of the parking structure closest to the law school

that sucks. I swear some f*ckers are just plain damn sad. I notice that S2000 antennas have been popping up on '03 Corollas as well... and another car, forgot which one, but I remember it wasn't a Toyota.

I've been lucky so far. I'm considering just shaving the damned antenna hole already... I listen to CD's alot, or just watch DVDs.

I know the mazda one does because I "borrowed" my friends one when we were cruising one night. He didnt even notice I swaped them untill I went to go put it back. :chuckles:

LOL. That's a good one. My friend used to have this jack ball on the antenna of his Mazda truck, and the thing had been on for so long that the eyes and mouth had come off, and all the was left was the nose and hat. The whole front face of the thing was covered in dirt (and the back was kinda clean haha). For some reason he really liked it anyway, so any chance I'd get I'd swipe the damned thing, and he'd come back to the car and be all pissed off about his missing jack ball. Then I'd put it back on and he'd be :wtf: -- until he figured out I was swiping it. He caught me red handed and I flung it down the street... never seen a guy go screaming down the street chasing a dirty jack ball before hahahahaha!!!

dont want to rain on your parade, but i had my antenna glued in, and it still got stolen at the UH structure. so, now i just have a plug in there, and i keep my new antenna in the glove box... lol

I've wondered that too. Seems like they've swung away from doing every little thing to lighten the Celica and have made it a more mature car for '03 and '04. I've heard ppl say that the sunroof is actually glass now and not the lightweight polycarbonate (whazzatit??) roofs the 00-'02's have.

didn't know they used something besides glass for sunroofs..

sorry off topic but.. i was reading the other posts the other day and lots of people had problems with rusting around the area of the sunroof..any of you guys have that problem?
