Anybody's Heater ever stop working??

Well, for the first time since spring...I decided to use my heat and to my surprise the damn thing doesnt even work!! I dont know what to check really...the fan blows hard air, just not remotely close to warm.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Could it be the Thermostat that is dusted?

Sucks not having heat when its freezing in the morning!! :bang:

Well, either the cable that opens the flap by the heater core is disconnected, or the heater core is plugged...

Or you don't wait long enough for it to heat up ;)

I am loving the "Wait a few minutes" comment. Obviously I would make sure my car is fully warmed before making such a post! haha

On a serious note...I had been driving the car for over 20mins and the damn thing blew almost as cold as the AC! I will check for the things you mention David...this sucks!

I hope its something simple. Come to think of it...I had not checked my heat since I went back to the stock airbox. Forgive me for my newbieness but is the heater core in the close vicinity of the airbox? Close enough that something could have come off?
