I will be making the jump to buy some wheels and tires soon but I need some information. This is my planned setup, 15x7 Volk TE-37's with Falken Azenis in 205/50/15's. But unfortunately the only offset offered in the 5x100 pattern is the 48mm (or at least from the research I've done). In my head I picture big issues with rubbing at this offset. Also I'm lowered 1.5 in. from stock. First off, has anyone found any other offsets of these wheels offered in this size? Second of all, will offset cause rubbing or have any other detrimental effects on the car?

In addition, I found 16x7 in. wheels at offsets at 33 and 46. Ideally I want to run 15's, but 16's in 215/45 would be a pretty good compromise. Any suggestions or ideals?
Check the Volk web site for offsets. I pretty much have the same questions as you. I guess the only way to really know is to just get something and try it out.
But this stuff is expensive, so I hear ya.

I've seen 5/16 inch spacers at pep boys, which is about 8 or 9 mm i think, so you'd be about back to stock offset. I don't know if its a good idea to run spacers on the street though, at least with hubcentric wheels... does anyone know for sure?

If you have to add spacers the wheels will not be totally hubcentric and you may feel a vibration above 80 mph... I had a similar situation. If you stay in the range of 4mm either way from stock offset you should be okay.. I am going to a 42mm. Good luck.
