i wanna bring my car in for service but i'll got lowered springs,bodykit and mostly cosmetic stuff....but i dont want the dealer to give me any problems....i bought my car a boch...are they bitches about servicing modded cars under warrenty?? Also does powertrain warranty cover mostly everything under the hood right?? except for wear and tear things like belts and stuff..is that correct??....any info appreciated....

if your car is modded appearence wise, why should a dealer give you any trouble?? i can understand if you have some performance mods

Dealers only give crap about engine mods. Cosmetics shouldn't be a problem.

Stay away from Bernardi in Framingham. they appear to be competant at first, but are far from it.

Brought it in to fix a rattling shield, which I should have done myself, but whatever, and they completely made it worse, and I had to bring it back again, and then again.

yea i have heard bad things about bernardi too. my friend bought a tacoma from them and he said they were all as$es! but stay away from 495 toyota in milford too. i hate that fuking place. #1 in service 3 years in a row.......... COMPLETE BULL$HIT!!!!

but on another note, my exhaust head shield lost 2 bolts and is now rattling too. im just gonna pick up a couple of 2x10's and build a ramp so i can get a jack under my car. then i'll fix that sh!t myself! i mean, it aint that hard to put in 2 bolts...... :-P
