YOU WERE ROBBED.. the paintjob was the only good thing, but no kit, no lowered, hell, ur engine bay was nicer. rims didnt even look that great. i dunno how u lost to that tercel though.. its a tercel.... sorry to pour salt on the wound....

there was also an AB FLUG supra there that didn't get judged, roll cage, custom system, 18 inch 3-piece m5's (i think) sparco seats, HUGE FMIC, and a TRD carbon wing... etc... o and custom paint

this supra should have won first... you shoulda been in the running to ryan

i now how you feel man. I lost to a older vw with 18's, burned out paint, and stickers all over his windows. they weren't even decals. bastard was from mexico. i also lost to a car with a molded kit that was cracked and that wasn't sanded properly. he just had a regular speaker box and the amp screwed on the top. it looked all ghetto. shows suck! :(

I remember seeing the guy with the Ghost flames at the Orlando meet. and I must say it looked pretty damn sweet. But then again you hood was really messed up at that meet. My my, how your car has come a long ways. I think you defiently should have won. Better luck next time bro.

Celica70 your car looks really good!!! I'm with the rest on not being a big fan of chrome rims... but its all good. You definantly got robbed though. That paint won that Celi a trophy.... but thats about it. Its a cool paint job but some judges are just stupid. But you just gotta come back stronger... you'll get one soon enough.

y2kflame: what type of springs, and what kind of bodykit? I just put in my custom fiberglass glass box, and i took out the back seats and made that all fiberglassed, it looks sweet.

hehe no hating :P i'm sure you can kind of understand though about the placement. Your paint looks sweet, and i don't know what you have on your interior (except looking at your sig)... but i think proper judging should have put the kitted car ahead because i think its on a points basis type thing. Certain things add points. I guess your paint added a lot though.. LOL

by the way how much did you pay for that if you don't mind me asking?

the points are 0-20 points for like 10-15 things. For example

wheels-

and a bunch of other things.

just got the eibach pro kit and ww body kit i not going for the extreme look..just something suttle...how much did your box cost celica 70.....and where'd you get it done...i was going to do mine next weekend... but im painting my kit and repainting my engine parts.....

How could anyone say those dull aluminum rims are even a match for chromes? The chrome rims just blows the dull gray ones away, especially at night.

I'd also like to see the progress for all the cars!! I was so ready to go but I f*ked up my car the weekend before the meet :mad: and I didn't feel like goin' w/my car all messed up...
