Which race is you guys into ? I know in America CART is much more popular, but F1 is exciting as well.
I've been supporting Cristiano Da Matta, who transfers from CART to F1 this year.

f1 - no doubt, a lot more tech goes into that racing. the last place team spends 50 million to race. to be in the top 3 cost at least 300 million. very big name sponsors, racing around the world.

I like autox events much more. Seeing real world cars racing on the track is a lot more fun to me than Formula 1 or nascar.

It has been said that there are three frontiers of high-technology application:
1. NASA
2. US military
3. F1

F1 first; CART second. Boo IRL.
Go Williams, JPM, and Ralf!

best to watch on tv or live, cart without a doubt. the car at the back of the grid has as much of chance to win as the car on pole. it's still the most exciting race series from a fan perspective.
f1 is nice from a technology standpoint but put schumacher in a minardi let's see how well he does.

I follow CART the most since its the easiest for me to see live and is more exciting to watch then F1. I am into just about all forms of motorsports racing. I've will go and have been to an IRL race but only if its free.

I had never been a big fan for F1 until last year when Toyota joined. I felt sorry for Mika Salo who did a good job for a new team but was still dropped finally. Then I'm looking at Cristiano Da Matta, who took the championship last year in CART and transfers to F1 this season. I think both the team and he needs time to get podium finish. Da Matta surely has the talent.
I can only watch Formula 1 on ESPN (I am from HK) but no CART. I hope Mika Salo performs well.
Celica has finally been used as entry car in the famous JGTC race in Japan, and has won the GT300 (cars with 300hp). I'll try to post some pics later on.

???
Mika Salo retired (then "un-retired") and Alan McNish went back to race for Audi's LeMans team.

actually all the teams but Minardi and Jordan spend more than 200 million in F1 ;-) ... 600kg's, 800+ HP, F1 ownz...and next yr Toyotas gonna win some races
I much prefer F1 to CART. Always liked the fact that sportscar manufacturer's around the world supply engines (and sometimes chassis) to compete in what has become the pinnacle of motorsport technology.
World Rally is a distant second followed by all manner of 'tin top' Sports & GT car racing.

Toyota has been interesting to watch this year. They certainly seem to have the motor... now time to work on the chassis.

F1 all the way. Been a fan since the late 80's. Used to watch CART during their heyday in the mid-late 90's with the wide variety of chassis, engine manufacturers, and tires. Nowadays it's just another spec series.

F1. Too bad F1 is dying. CART uses nothing but ford engine or is it IRL?
It would have been great if montoya stuck with toyota. I think the motor needs more grunt. Why the hell they changed driver so early, McNish salo..now panis, da matta..next year its pobably chris rado.

Until they can straighten their financial situation out, CART is using spec Ford Engines. Toyota and Honda moved to the IRL with Chevy. Tony George is now eating his words when he started IRL. I like different forms or racing but an All oval series is just too boring.
