As you all know i had my SQUEAKY clutch pedal replaced after taking to the dealer 3 times. I waited 2 weeks for them to get it in. Well it squeakes again!

I checked it out and it seems like it's a used clutch pedal. One of the edges are scraped. So I looked under the car, the springs, and all the mechanism had what looks like moldy spots on it and there is no prefactory lubing. But I touched the mechanism and it turned out that it was some powdery stuff that came right off.

I called the dealership. The service guy tells me that the parts were brand new. He tells me "Why would they give me used parts since my car is still in warranty?"
Is it possible that it could be used or remanufactured or refurbished parts?
I once heard of a guy who got his engine replaced under warranty and they gave him a used engine.

here are the part no.s
somone who's replaced the clutch pedal tell me if the part no. match up to yours.

Check your warranty contract. Many times they say that parts can be replaced with both new and remanufactured parts. I would raise hell about it though.

You know what? My clutch pedal never squeeked until I got the trd clutch installed. Could it be the pressure plate squeeking? Just a thought. Im gonna get mine checked out
