Thats funny! I probably wouldn't have been able to wait either. I talked to my friend that worked at Toyota of Atlanta and he said if the tree of us ordered springs and struts at the same time we would save on shipping and he might be able to get them even cheaper. I'm going to give him the part numbers tomorrow so he can find out what his cost will be. Also I don't think all three of us will be able to get in our shop up here, but I was thinking I may do mine and then we can get together and do yours and Barry's. Nick the guy that would get the springs said he has a spring compressor we could probably use too.

Sure. Maybe you and Mark could go in together and get the strut spring combo and make it even cheaper. Thats if Mark still wants just the springs.

thanks man, that might be a good idea about us going in together for the combo. it might be a while before i get them though (i think i'll do the clutch/flywheel/lsd first), so i'm not sure if he'll want to wait that long.

Are there any Phase 7 stickers left? If so do you have a small one that would fit on the small triangular window behind the driverside window? I will definatly come to the next meet. Thanks guys

The only stickers I have left are my windshield one which I haven't had a chance to put on, and a blue and white windshield one like Cody's. It wouldn't be a problem at all to get him to make more. I could oreder them and pick them up the same day. Also I'll stick a couple pics on here of the stickers. He can do whatever color you want.

I would have no problem going in with a spring strut set with you cody I am trying to save some money and from what I have heard its not that bad of a ride quality to get just the springs but Duncan if the price isn't that bad for both I may get both, let me know how much they will be

I talked to him today and he was going to check and see what it would cost him. Once he tells me a price and I can get a definate order and money from eveyone we can see what we would save by getting them all shipped together.

Where do they ship them from? Are there no shops in Georgia that carry these parts? I'm a bit clueless, but I thought the dealership wouldn't charge you for them to get the parts in...

Most dealerships that I have been to don't have any TRD stuff that they keep in stock. They have to order it. They usually put a huge mark up on the prices for normal people, but this guy duncan knows can get it cheaper.

Ahha. Getting year end bonus from work tomorrow, will call bank to see how much the deposit was tonight, hoping to be 400ish. Then to find out how much tax rebate is to see how much I have to blow and decide what to get. :o)

He called his friend at TRD today and got some interesting information. He said that TRD is no longer going to sell the Eibach springs and Bilstein struts. They are instead going to sell the TRD Japan stiffer rate spring and struts. Apparently they are made in house by TRD Japan and are much stiffer almost race springs. I'm hoping they will not be to stiff for normal road driving, but they should be even better for autocrossing and racing. For the set it would be $525 through him. It sounds like the normal price on these are higher than the old ones. He also said he thought the regular ones would still be available for a little while. He forgot to get the individual prices and when he called back TRD was closed for the day so he's still going to find that out. Also he said the shipping doesn't cost anything since he orders it througn Toyata and when we are sure of what we want he can just call the guy and he'll order them. I'll let you guys know again when he finds out more for me. Also I may try to meet him saturday night for the racing if anyone wants to go. Later
