Do You Hear This Sound In Lift??

LMAO ... i know im not crazy .... and dont get me wrong i love the sound , but it does this tsssssssss sound. Its not that loud but i dont turn my music hight at all (because im god damn in love with the sound of the engine ) . OH BTW do any of you rev your first gear up to 6000 rpm when shifting ????? i do but is it gonna damage any thing when the car is semi-warm?

I heard that sound untill I put on the CAI.

I try not to push it to hard till it's warm, but my house is about a block from the highway entrance, so..consequently I do sometimes.

I have no problems with the car at all. Still runs like (better) than day one. I now have about 18K miles. The ECU won't let it go into lift untill it reaches a 'safe' temperture. I believe that Toyota has set the temp on the ECU consertively for their own (warranty) protection.

The only thing I have noticed is that, when the weather is real cold, and I have been running it in the cold, When I start it up next I get condensation out of the exhaust..till it warms up. I have checked this several times and yup, its just condensation.

BTW, when I say cold..it like -5 to +20F.

does anyone else get this sound? ..... i guess its kinda like a werrrrrrrrrrrr sound too .... it starts at 5000 rpm now for me LOL.

i get this kind of little electric type whirr, like you hear from a UFO in that movie Independence Day or something...but it's only under 3000rpm.

the only other noise i get is when in high gear, and i give it a little gas, i hear sort of a little rough noise (as opposed to squeaking) from the belts. if i give it more gas, or go over 3000rpm, no noise.
