I was planning on getting a 00' celica gt-s, but now i think it will be a little bit out of my price range. So i was wondering what would be a good car in the 10-12$ range. I want it to be reliable and fast in straight line, but also good handling.

I dont want to get a dsm of any sort b/c too many ppl have them, also i dont want any v8's :thumbdown.

Thanks in advance

You should be able to find an 00 Celica GTS with high mileage for around 12-15k.. Not that much more then you want to spend.

Get what I plan to get this fall. An A4 1.8t Quattro. You can get a '97 for that price range with decent mileage.

Yup, stock they're not much, about 150hp- 155 torque. Some mods later it's capable of mid 13s. It's plenty fast for me. Right now I'm looking for a good 4 door that's classy and has some power behind it.

My Celica GT is for sale. $13500. It aint fast but it's not bad. Beats alot of cars. Then you could get David Draper's turbo and make it fast.
