Hello NC!

Well I have finally purchased my coilovers (BC). Now of course comes the time to install them. I have two options,

1: I can get them installed by a shop. I would look around and check out recommended mechanics and get them installed there. I would of course do the lowering adjustments when time need be.

Or

2: Get them installed by a guy I have known since middle school on and off. He is supposedly into cars and knows about cars. I randomly ran into him one time at a local market and he referenced a post I made on facebook and told me I should call him sometime so he could help me.

Of course i can go with a trusted mechanic (recommended shops under the socal subforum) but I would have to pay more. But at least I would have the piece of mind knowing they got installed "properly" and I have a reference if there ever happens to be an issue. But then again I could go with this guy and potentially save myself some money and in the process learn about the installation process.

What would you do?

Hi everyone,

I'm getting a redliner9k header and the DDIM within the next few months, I already have stage 2 cams, cwrx oil pump, mwr valves/springs/retainers. Is there any other parts of the car that i need to keep my eye on in order to be running the kind of high rpm power i'm hoping for (190hpish). I've read on honda forums of them upgrading their fuel pressure regulators, im gaskets, injectors, etc. I'm unfamiliar with fuel systems and when they should be upgraded, is there any little side parts in the engine that i should be aiming to upgrade at the same time in order to be on the safe side?

Detailed information, vehicle history report and pictures can be found by visiting: www.ebaymotors.com or by following the link located below.

Condition: Excellent condition, garage kept, better than stock gas mileage, never raced, never been in an accident, has a clean title, car fax history report, and low miles for a vehicle it's age. The car has been well maintained, I have copies of 80% of all modification and maintenance receipts to prove that the car was well maintained. The Greddy Supercharger kit has been professionally installed by Vivid Racing and tuned for daily driving by Tony from UMS Tuning (both located here in Arizona). This vehicle is tuned and configured for daily driving and not for racing. The vehicle can be tuned and configured as a show car and/or racing.
An oil change and basic maintenance has been recently performed and the car is running with no problems whatsoever. I also had the front bumper and hood repainted and the 2 front tires replaced. The only drawback for being a used car is that there are "minor" scratches and dings, which is normal for a car this age. I originally detailed the car both inside and out (including engine) so you don't have to worry about cleaning the car after you purchase it.
I'm the second owner and purchased the car in early 2004. Out of the entire time I've owned the car, I've kept it on and off in storage between 2 to 3 years with the exception of getting it started and driven for maintenance purposes only. The reason why it's been garage kept is because I'm a working professional who travels very often. I need to sell the car because I no longer have space in my garage for this vehicle.
I'm only asking $15,000 for all the work that's been done, which is an excellent deal considering the amount of money I've put into into it, but I'm willing to accept any kind of offer. Please send me an e-mail at: joebelin@jbautoperformance.com or call me at: 480-773-7994 if your interested or if you need more info/pictures of the car. Please don't complain over the price because it's an automatic. If you have any issues because it's an auto, please look elsewhere. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY.

I REALLY wanted these bad especially for the price, may still break down and get them since they are so cheap, it'd be a nice change to my TYC reds and would greatly change the look of my car since the colors are so different but looking at other posts of them to see the LEDs lit up I see these don't have a flat lense like stock lights do. I see they have those boobs people talk about and while it's not super apparent since the lense is clear I just am not so sure about that...I don't care about the benz logo thing going on I like everything about them EXCEPT the BOOBS...and while very cheap I think I may get sick of them overtime soooo we'll see if no one buys curiosity may get the best of me...but ugh why those boobs?? I was so excited couldn't believe how cheap they were ...:marky:

PS I know these aren't really popular around here but just in case another odd ball like me likes em it's a good deal...
I have always been a fan of celica. I finished school last yr and started working. And then I got my 2000 Celica GT. So I started off by adding sporty summer tires. But for some reason the car shakes after 60mph. I switched back to my boring tires it works fine now. But i want to use my sporty ones. I believe my celica lacks power. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions.
