Post pics of your radio's "little random"
I have the stock 2001 radio.
I'm planning on getting a new one :gap:

Not sure what I want
so many to choose :AF:

I have the JBL 6 disc 03+ OEM stereo. It looks good and works just as well. I have the Grom Audio USB adapter hooked up to it, so I don't need an aftermarket CD player to play from my USB. The adapter also uses the text from the file names on the flash drive and it is shown on the OEM stereo.

I like the fact that it's factory, gives someone less of a reason to break into my car.

My buddy just ordered the whole navigation setup from a camry, should be in next week and be friggin sweet. No pics but I have a pioneer ph5700dvd, it does the job just fine. Iv been toting around the idea of getting one of those cheap in dash double did DVD players for the mr2, just to see how they do

I'm personally partial to Alpine head units, but there's lots of good ones out there. If you're looking for an aftermarket stereo, go around to a couple shops and see what they'd recommend. Unless you're getting the bottom of the barrel cheap unit, most will have what you're looking for in terms of features.

Head unit is Dual XDM6350, yes it's cheap but it definitely does a great job! The screen in the JDM console is a Pioneer avd-w6010 monitor.

I know you guys have seen this picture so often lol....but you know what? There's only a few JDM consoles 'round these parts! However all of this stuff is out of the celica until I get back to the states.;)

Instead of embedding huge images

250 gigs of storage :AF:
That sounds nice... I would like to get an aftermarket stereo, but I like my factory JBL one. Actually I might start looking into a new Pioneer for my car. I've ALWAYS used Pioneer head-units, they've always lasted forever with no problems at all.

Swapped in a factory Toyota navigation unit (E7008 from an '06 4Runner). There's considerable wiring work to be done and the amp needs to swapped for a digital JBL unit, but the new amp works with a premium system wonderfully if you swap some pins. It's got bluetooth, a 4 CD changer (that'll do WMA and MP3 CDs), RDS, voice commands, service reminders, plus, if you wire them up, an auxiliary input and rear view camera. Totally worth the effort if you ask me.

I have just installed Kenwood DNX8220BT. It has GPS with 2012 maps, bluetooth, 7" monitor and great sound. Much better than previous JVC KW-AVX710 (again 7" but no GPS and bluetooth). Bluetooth is so much fun.... Pictures soon.
