orginally i was going to get the rsx type s but then they denied the internet ad i brought to them and the car's price was like 4k more. so i ended up going to the next dealership and brought the stupid white gt that gave me problems from left to right...then here i am with a celica gts. but what i really want is a evo 8 or 9

And some people just don't have humor! hehehe
On the real though my other ride is a 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage
If money wasn't an issue, I'd love to roll around in a new G35 Coupe (technically a four seat version of a 350Z).

I'm not really driving the celica anymore, both to keep the miles down and since it's not all that practical anymore. So I drive my 1999 Impreza outback sport baby!!!
It's actually a pretty peppy car, it's nice to have something resembeling a useful amount of tq again. The suspension needs to be tightened up badly, but I can't complain: I got it for stupid low money.

What would I drive? A new Nissan GT-R. 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, a mid 11 second qtr mile car, and handling so much better than I could ever put to use...
What do I drive? Well I recently returned the Legacy GT back to 100% stock and traded it in for a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer SS. Yes, I know. I went American, but hear me out... 400hp/400 ft-lbs, a 6.0L LS2 motor that makes you smile anytime you mat the pedal, and I'm averaging 16mpg (which isnt that bad at all). The cost to fill the SS with 87 is the same as filling the LGT with premium and I get the same amount of miles out of a tank.
My reasoning for going bigger: House needs and a boat in the future. I didnt go with a Toyota PU, Ridgeline, or any other I4/V6 foreign utility vehicle because of the lack of power and boring interiors and styling.

Trailblazer SS sounds sick. I can only imagine what I/H/E, wider rims, good tires, and a reflash can do for that badboy on top of 400 hp.

You get a slightly faster SUV of death, perfect for those times when you want to roll more than a dozen times after flipping.
Is that the AWD version Matt? I ask because I assume you could end up having some trouble pulling a good sized boat out of the water with wet rear tires.
I'm surprised they still only have 4 speed autos on some of the bigger vehicles these days.

I have been looking at 04 Cobras and EVOs. I will probably end up with one of those in the next year or so. I want something with some power stock that is not FWD. All of the cars I mentioned have the potental to be fast with some mods.

When did you decide to sell the Celica??
I was torn between the Z, S2k and an Evo. Glad I went with the Z. When I drove the S2k it felt too underpowered and I didn't want a rag top and the Hardtop looks stupid I think. The Evo felt good (with unlimited possibilities) but sitting in the car felt cheap. The interior lacks in every single department. I think the Z has a bit of both worlds. I'm still very happy with the choice.
If you decide on a Z, get ahold of me and you're welcome to drive it and/or I'll give you advice on which years to avoid. There a some (05 Anniversary Edition and the 2006 all models) that have some serious issues that will cause a big headache.

Ru seriously comparing the M3 to the IS
thats like comparing the the neon srt4 to the wrx/sti. YES they are both comparable in # BUT one has much more heritage and sexiness to it
just say the word "M3" and see how it puts a smile on your face
need i say more??

Stock, its actually really quiet and I kinda like it for now. Come next spring, a reflash will be done, followed by an intake and possible exhaust. Headers are a b1tch in this truck and Im not ready to tackle that. But I
