PFC Idle Tuning - 3" intake, MWR Stg3, large injectors

So the tuner I went to was having trouble setting up the idle to work properly. I started with OTB's map, had it scaled for my injectors and tuned from there. AF at idle was about 14.5:1, rest of the map is mid 12:1 on pulls, 13-14:1 on low, partial throttle. I don't have a wideband in the car, this was all on the tuner's dyno.

Things to consider:
3" intake, stock MAF
Injector Dynamics 1000cc, which have had no problem idling on a stock Honda motor, so the size shouldn't be an issue.
MWR Stage 3 cams
PPE header, no cats, 2.5" exhaust
PFC, FC-Hako, FC-Edit and Copilot but it was tuned on FC-Edit.
Idle set around 1200rpm

So the problem is that when coming down to a stop, the car will try to catch, stumble around 6-700, and then die. If I blip the throttle, sometimes I can keep it happy and keep it alive. Not always the case though. I played around with some ignition timing per a NewCelica thread (http://www.newcelica.org/forums/show...?t=301209)with not many results. Post #44 seems to help it a bit, bu not really. I did not try his third suggestion however.

I did save the map, initialize the PFC, load the map, and do the 30 min (10/10/10) idle learn procedure. It seems to have little effect. Where to go from here?

Oh, and I set all the injector vs voltage lag times to the specs of the injectors.

Sorry to say, but you need a wideband so you can get this dialed in better.

I experienced this behavior when I was too rich at idle, I believe. I'm just I/H/E, however.

Try giving it lots more ign advance on the nearly 0 load cells, around the idle rpm area - cured my problem of the same description, right away.

The third suggestion would in essence keep the timing up after the engine has warmed up.

Send a message via MSN to zzt231 gr
Go to settings 3>Airflow curves and to the curve that you are using, make the lowest voltage 0,650 to the 01 cell. This is the problem.
