Stock ECU reset?
I was reading a few threads in here and saw the someone claimed extra power from, essentially, just a reset ECU. I'm obviously not going to pay someone to do this, but I was wondering, If I just reset my ECU, would it run a bit smoother/more efficient? Pretty n00b question, but I'm a n00b so...
The only 'mods' i've done are Injen Air Intake system and I changed the spark plugs to Platinum. I also recently changed the serpentine belt.
EDIT: I'm not expecting some "Miracle power boost" or anything, I'm just expecting it to help my reliability in the long run.

disconnect the negative side of the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it. there is also a fuse you can pull, but i've never done it that way.
hopefully someone else will chime in.

I reset the ECU by pulling out the EFI Fuse. I can tell it worked, but I'm not sure if it worked in a good way.
I back out of my drive way, and I go to 1/4 throttle and there was no response for a second, almost like turbo lag.
after driving it a few miles, the problem seemed to have gone away. any suggestions?

first off get rid of those spark plugs. you want either a simple Copper plug or Iridium like the OEM plug. Platinum plugs do not perform well in the celica
