Hey guys, just testing the waters here really...I recently sold my 7th gen (so sad, I know). This leaves me with a custom built fiberglass box and false floor amp rack that is built to work with a car that I no longer own...

There is over 100 hours of work in this - a labor of love, really - I just want to see if anyone is interested in buying it! I used to work with a guy who does custom audio so this thing has been built really well with 9 layers of fiberglass matting applied from behind and many hours applying bondo and high build primer. We had it professionally painted at a nearby shop to match the silver exterior.

All panels and the amp rack you see in the photos go with it, but for now I am keeping all the equipment (subs, amps, caps, etc). It's about 1.5' x 1.5' x 3' and approx 40 lbs so it will probably be expensive to ship. I live in Surrey, BC, Canada so you should be able to calculate the shipping costs.

Nice work!

To comply with forum rules, please post one more picture of the part with your username next to it, on a piece of paper.

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with how well it turned out - even won a few IASCA competitions with it!

Regarding the photo with my username/date - my apologies. It has been a while since I have posted here and I forgot about that important rule. These photos where actually taken a while ago (when I was building the system). I will get some more recent photos of the box and paneling with my username in them, but it will have to wait until Tuesday. Everything is being stored at my office and the building is closed for the long weekend.

I've replied to everyone with PM. More info:
-This is designed to flush fit 2 12" subs.
-It's a large-sealed box. I never measured the final volume, but it's a bit on the large side. Ideal for subs with large Vas (the infinity kappa perfect 12" I had have a Vas of 3 cu ft).
-The paneling (included) is all wrapped in grey carpet, it matches really well with the grey option interior. If you want black, you would have to remove the carpet and re wrap - this is not hard, actually kinda fun. Use 3M spray adhesive from home depot.
-Not depicted (but included) is a piece of laser cut 1/2" plexiglass which covers the amp rack.
-The amp rack has two 12v fans that I never hooked up. They're a bit loud, but could be easily replaced with quieter (computer case) fans

As promised, it is Tuesday and I have more photos to show. I tried to give a sense of what exactly is being included in the sale. All panels and, of course, the fibreglass sub box are up for grabs. As I have told others, all I am trying to do out of this is recoup my expenses for materials and the paint job (done at a professional shop), which works out to $400 (plus shipping).

Shipping will probably not be cheap. The box is 54 lbs and is 2' D x 4' W x 1.5' H and all the panelling weighs 34 lbs and would fit in a box that is 3.5' W x 2.5' D x 1' H. Using these numbers, you should be able to calculate shipping costs from Surrey BC, Canada, V3X 3V6.
